How do I contact support?

Email hello@laxuresume.com. We're a small team — most replies land within 24 hours on weekdays. Include your account email and (if it applies) the error ID we showed you when something broke. That ID lets us pull the exact request out of our logs in seconds.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings → Billing → Manage subscription. That opens Stripe's customer portal where you can cancel at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep paid access until then.

Do you offer refunds?

Yes. If Laxu Resume didn't deliver what we promised — the tailored output was unusable, the export failed, the match score didn't appear — email us within 14 days of the charge and we'll refund it, no questions asked. We don't refund the Single Job Pack after the PDF has been downloaded (you've already received the deliverable), but ask anyway if something went wrong.

How do I delete my account?

Go to Settings → Account → Delete account. We remove your profile, every tailoring session, every tracked job, and every uploaded resume from our database within 24 hours. Stripe retains the payment record for tax compliance, but that's separated from your product data.

What counts as one tailoring?

One job description run against one resume. You get the full output — match score, missing keywords, bullet rewrites, optional cover letter, PDF + DOCX exports — all included in that one run. Re-exporting or regenerating the cover letter on the same session doesn't count as a new tailoring.

Why didn't one of my bullets get rewritten?

If the original bullet has no real substance to rewrite from — a one-line stub, a duty-only sentence with no verb-object-result — we return the original with a note suggesting you add specifics. Our prompts explicitly forbid inventing achievements or metrics, so we'd rather flag it than fake an improvement.

My PDF won't upload — what now?

Three common causes: (1) the file is over 5 MB (export it from your word processor with images compressed); (2) it's a scanned image rather than text (re-export as a text-based PDF); (3) it's a Pages or Numbers export with non-standard fonts. If none of those apply, email us with the file attached and we'll diagnose it.

What happens to my data if I downgrade or cancel?

Nothing is deleted. Your tailoring history, tracked jobs, and uploaded resumes remain in your account. You lose access to features the lower plan doesn't include (e.g. unlimited tailoring, daily reminders), but the data stays where it is until you choose to delete the account.
