About Laxu Resume

Built for the resumes you send on a Sunday night.

Most resume tools are built for laid-off mid-career professionals. We built Laxu Resume for the other crowd — students, interns, and new grads, applying to their first real jobs with a resume that mostly says “I’m capable, please give me a chance.”

§ 01

Why we built it.

Career services tells you to “tailor your resume to each job.” That’s correct. It’s also a four-hour project per application when you’re sending fifty.

The existing tools either over-promise (“guaranteed to beat the ATS”) or under-deliver (a $30/month subscription for what is essentially a thesaurus). Neither is the right fit when you’re a sophomore staring down a recruiter portal at 11pm.

So we made the thing we wanted: paste a JD, upload your resume, see how well it matches, get the missing keywords, get bullets sharpened with what you actually did, and get a cover letter that doesn’t sound like it was generated by a robot.

Your first tailoring is free — the actual deliverable, not a preview. From there, $0.99 per application or $4.99/month if you're applying weekly. No subscription required. No signup wall.

§ 02

What we won’t do.

  • We won’t invent achievements.

Bullet rewrites are based on what your resume already says. We sharpen verbs and weave in JD keywords where they truly applied. If a bullet has no real substance, we tell you to add specifics — we don’t make them up.

  • We won’t promise to beat any specific ATS.

We don’t have access to Workday, Greenhouse, or iCIMS’s internal parsers. What we can show you is how well your resume matches the JD’s requirements — that’s the score.

  • We won’t log your resume content.

Resumes are processed in memory for the tailoring you’re doing. We don’t train models on your text. We don’t keep it after the session unless you sign up and explicitly save it.
